Agra Mathura Vrindavan Tour Package

Mathura, Vrindavan and Agra lie in a line south of Delhi along the Yamuna. Mathura is about 3 hours down the Yamuna Expressway, Vrindavan is 15 km from Mathura, and Agra is a further 60 km. That geography is why this 2 nights 3 days road trip works without any long driving day: the first two nights are spent in the Mathura and Vrindavan area, and the Taj Mahal is reached early on the third morning before the drive back to Delhi. The Krishna towns are temple visits with fixed timings. Banke Bihari opens for darshan in the morning and again in the evening with a break in between; Prem Mandir is best seen after dark when it is lit; the ISKCON temple has an evening aarti that visitors are welcome to join. In Agra the Taj Mahal opens about half an hour before sunrise and is closed to visitors on Fridays, so the third day is fixed to avoid a Friday. Agra Fort and, across the river, Mehtab Bagh fill the rest of the morning.

The vehicle from Delhi stays with you, which matters in Vrindavan where roads near the temples are narrow and the driver parks at the edge of the old town while you walk or take an e-rickshaw.
